EZ Dock System Installed at Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Near Ashland

We just wrapped up a full EZ Dock system installation at Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministry near Ashland, and this one was a really fun build. The setup includes dedicated slips for paddle boats and canoes, plus a kayak launcher - everything the camp needs to get kids safely on the water all summer long.

Getting a floating dock system right for a camp setting is different from a typical residential install. You need something that handles heavy, repeated use from a lot of different people - many of them kids who are still learning how to handle watercraft. The kayak launcher is one of our favorite features on this build. Getting in and out of a kayak from a standard dock edge can be awkward and risky, especially for younger campers. The launcher lowers that barrier completely - it guides the kayak into position so you can slide in and push off without the usual wobbling around. Safer entries, cleaner exits, more time actually paddling.

From the gangway ramp down to the floating dock platform and out to the slips, every piece of this system was spec'd and installed with camp life in mind. The modular EZ Dock sections connect tightly together and flex with the water, which keeps the whole surface stable underfoot even when a group of kids piles on at once. That kind of reliability matters when you're running back-to-back camp sessions all summer.
