The reservoir basin gets lined, the pump gets set and plumbed, and then we layer in the rock work - smaller gravel filling in the base, then larger boulders placed by hand to give it that natural, rugged look. It takes some patience to get the rock placement right, but that's what makes the difference between something that looks built and something that looks like it belongs.

The finished result fits right into the existing landscape. Tucked in next to the arborvitae and the raised planting bed, it becomes part of the yard rather than a focal point that sticks out.
