Most lake hazards you can't see coming. Submerged logs sitting on the bottom don't announce themselves - they just wait. For boaters, swimmers, and anyone enjoying the water, that's a real problem. We got called out near Waterloo to deal with exactly that.

Our crew went in the water to locate, rig, and pull out logs that had been sitting on the lake bottom. This is the kind of underwater work that doesn't get a lot of attention, but it matters. A waterlogged tree trunk can wreck a prop, damage a hull, or pose a serious risk to swimmers who have no idea it's there. Getting it out isn't glamorous - it's just the right thing to do.

Here's what that process actually looks like from our end. Divers go down to assess what they're dealing with, rig up straps and chains around the debris, and then we use the boat to muscle it out. Some of these logs have been underwater long enough to get dark and dense - heavy and awkward to work with. Once they're out, they end up on shore. Problem solved.

The rigging and gear we carry is purpose-built for this kind of work. Chains, straps, lift floats, hand tools - whatever it takes to get the job done safely and completely. Our underwater work and dock repair services cover a wide range of situations, and submerged debris removal is one of the most common calls we get. Every lake bottom is different, but the approach is always the same: methodical, safe, and thorough.

Cleaner water and fewer hidden hazards - that's what we're after on every job. If you've got something lurking under the surface of your lake or waterway, we're the crew to call.
