When winter hit Vermillion, SD, we at MD Aquatics faced a unique challenge: installing a new intake underwater amidst sheets of ice. This project required a blend of precision, expertise, and resilience, and we're proud to say we accomplished the task even when Mother Nature tried her best to chill our efforts.

Throughout the project, we tackled icy conditions head-on. Breaking through the solid ice was the first step, and it required our team to strategically cut into the surface to ensure safe and effective access to the water below. Working with specialized tools and equipment, we maneuvered carefully over and under the frozen layer.

One of the most crucial aspects of this project was ensuring the proper positioning and securing of the intake system. Our team worked tirelessly, overcoming the challenges posed by sub-zero temperatures. The installation had to not only be functional but also resilient against potential ice movements and pressure, making the task both complex and rewarding.

Despite the frigid environment, our dedicated team successfully delivered, showcasing our capability to handle projects in extreme conditions. The new intake installation enhances the aquatic management system, a testament to our commitment to quality and precision.
