A new patio is a great upgrade - but once the concrete crew packs up and leaves, you're often left with a yard that looks rough around the edges. Uneven soil, disturbed ground, clumps everywhere. It's that awkward in-between stage where the patio looks great but nothing around it does yet.

That's exactly where we came in on this Lincoln job. Fresh concrete patio, nicely done - but the surrounding yard needed serious attention before it could be seeded and brought back to life. Our crew got to work adding soil and hand-raking the entire area to get a smooth, consistent grade that flows naturally up to the new patio edge.

The grading work here matters more than people realize. If you just throw seed down on uneven, clumpy ground, you end up with an uneven lawn that holds water in the wrong spots and looks patchy for years. Getting the grade right first is what sets the lawn up to actually grow in the way you want.

We take this kind of cleanup work seriously. It's not glamorous, but it's the step that ties everything together. The soil needs to be built up in some areas, knocked down in others, and raked out until the surface is ready to hold seed. Get that wrong and the whole yard suffers for it.

If you've got a yard that's been torn up from a construction project - patio, addition, whatever it might be - we're set up to handle the soil work and get things prepped for the next step. Lawn care isn't just mowing. Sometimes it starts from the ground up.
